GETTING RID OF HYPERPIGMENTATION / MELASMA

If you keep up with the blog, you’ll know that our focus this week is Hyperpigmentation or Melasma. As harmless as this skin condition is, it can cause distress to the individuals suffering with it.

Hyperpigmentation or Melasma can be described as dark spots or patches on the skin. These patches occur because your melanocytes (the cells responsible for producing the colour of your skin) go into over-drive and start producing too much melanin; the result is dark patchy and uneven skin tone.

See our previous post for the main causes, once you are aware of the cause there are various treatment options available to you. We have a selection of products, that when used together correctly can reduce the signs of hyperpigmentation and/or Melasma.
